2. The short version

This is a static informational website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party content, and has no contact form or user accounts. Fonts and images are served from this site's own server, so simply visiting a page sends your data to nobody but the hosting provider. The only personal data processed is what your browser unavoidably transmits to the web server in order to deliver the page.

3. Server log files

When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits technical information which the hosting provider stores in server log files. This typically includes:

your IP address,
the date and time of the request,
the page or file requested,
the HTTP status code and amount of data transferred,
the referring URL, and
your browser type, version and operating system.

Purpose and legal basis: this data is required to deliver the website and to maintain its stability and security. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure website pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify you personally.

Retention: log data is deleted after 14 days.

4. Hosting

This website runs on a dedicated server administered by us and rented from:

We administer the server ourselves and netcup does not access the content of our systems in normal operation. As the operator of the hardware and data centre, however, netcup is a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR, and the processing is covered by a data processing agreement concluded with them. The server is located within the EU, so no transfer to a third country takes place.

5. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website uses no cookies, no local storage, no analytics service, no advertising network, no social-media plugins and no tracking pixels. No consent banner is required because nothing requiring consent is loaded.

6. Fonts and images

All fonts and images are stored on and delivered from this website's own server. In particular, the typefaces used (Cinzel and Inter, both under the SIL Open Font License) are self-hosted and are not loaded from Google Fonts or any other content delivery network, so no data about your visit is transmitted to a third party for that purpose.

7. External links

This site links to external services — currently our Discord server, and in future a Steam store page. These links are plain hyperlinks: nothing is loaded from those services until you actively click through. Once you do, you leave this website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence over, and accept no responsibility for, their data processing.

8. Contacting us by email

If you email us, the data you send (your email address, your message and any details you choose to include) is processed solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries), or Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract. Your message is retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet any statutory retention obligations, and is not passed on without your consent.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
have your data erased (Art. 17),
have processing restricted (Art. 18),
receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21), and
withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)).

10. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

If you believe our processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in particular in the EU member state of your residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. 11. Encryption

This site is served over HTTPS. Data transmitted between your browser and the server is encrypted in transit and cannot be read by third parties.
